I was spoiled the first summer the store was open, because that was when the prices for the sandwiches were still pretty reasonable (before you had to pay an extra dollar for the best sandwich bread they have there). The next fall came around they started up charging all of the menu items and I was little peeved. However, it was all still pretty delicious! The service is still rather slow, and the prices don't really match for the amount you get. Its a nice place to get a coffee and chat without going all the way out to starbucks or paynes, but be aware that the space is also not that large and seats very well could already be taken. I've given this restaurant 4 stars for the sole purpose that every ounce of food in that store is connected to the local community, and it's pretty much made from scratch. That is a noble goal to have as a cafe, and it takes time and good business practice to perfect such specific services.

Always a great experience. Friendly staff. Consistently tasty treats and beverages. Excellent place for a taste of Upland - community, culture, and favor.

The decor and feel of the place is nice, as are the serving sizes. The staff have always been polite to me.

This place is normally my favorite place to go because their cappucinos are my absolute favorite, but today I recieved a cappucino that tasted burnt, and when I asked for a new one, got another one that tasted burnt.

I have enjoyed everything I've tried at The Bridge when I'm in town, but I do find it a bit over-priced for a small town cafe.

Wife wanted to go this Cafe for a long time so I made it happen today. Reminded me of cool little cafes in Berkeley California good food good coffee lots of books. The owner was there very hospitable and easy to talk to we will be back.

The wait is also really long to get anything (15-25 minutes for a drink, much longer for food) even when they're not busy. The music is also very loud, so people talk over it and the place loses it's peaceful atmosphere. Still a wonderful place, but you need to count on spending the entire afternoon there.
